"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers."
Acts 2:42

What House2House is:
House 2 House is the Calvary Chapel North Lakes home fellowship ministry. It is based on the early church’s practice as described in Acts:
"So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:46-47 NKJV).
These small home group meetings were in addition to the larger public meetings held in the Temple. They served to create a more intimate gathering for the saints which allowed them to do life together as believers.

Why House2House meets:
The goal of House 2 House is two-fold. First, we endeavor to create opportunities for our geographically dispersed congregation to experience fellowship in more intimate settings. Our church’s community is rural and suburban, spanning outward in every direction across five counties throughout the tristate region of northeastern Indiana. As such, we have a growing need to have more localized opportunities to gather. Second, home fellowships are an effective means of infiltrating the communities represented in our larger congregation. When the dispersed saints gather in local settings, they become an outpost for our church, through which the light of the gospel can shine.

How House2House works:
We currently have five home fellowships that meet twice per month, in three counties. While each fellowship has its specific characteristics, they all consist of an interactive Bible study led by the group leaders, prayer, and plenty of fellowship, usually over food.
